As we all know, home staging is the hot new point-of-sale merchandising in real estate. Much like retail store merchandising, we use staging to show the home--our “merchandise”-- in its best light. By staging a home for sale, you help distinguish it as the most desirable of the available options, which entices a quicker sale, a better ROI for the homeowner, and a successful closing for the broker. While everyone agrees that staging is a wonderful idea, few have been willing--or able-- to focus the resources necessary to provide stagers with the tools they need to provide top quality services to their most demanding clientele. Why rent from us? The furniture that is available from most furniture rental companies is selected for use primarily in short-term housing. Items are selected mostly for function, and how the rental rates fit into corporate budgets, leaving style considerations very low on the priority list.

At Design It With Consignment, we understand the impact that beautiful, well-selected furnishings and décor can have on the salability of a home, and we make it our goal to provide the tools you need to show any property to it’s best advantage. Using our furnishings will allow you to highlight any home’s unique selling features, resulting in quicker sales, and greater return on investment.

We select only the best of the currently popular styles and top-quality brand names for our furniture inventory. Most items come from designer showroom samples, retail overstock, and some of the finest private residences in Central Texas. In addition, we have exclusive arrangements with some of Austin’s most talented artists whose work can provide the perfect finishing touch to your staged interiors. So, whether you are staging a home in Texas Chic, Contemporary, European Classic, or your own unique style, we stock everything you need to make your property sing!

How It Works:

Simply come by our elegant showroom and select exactly what you need to create the perfect environment for your staging project. Choose as much or as little as you like—we have no pre-defined packages that force you to take more than you need.

Sign our simple month-to-month rental agreement--we do require a one-month minimum rental period--schedule a delivery date (use your favorite delivery service or we can refer you to ours), pay your first month’s rent, and you are on your way! For any rentals that start in the middle of a calendar month, we will calculate the pro-rated amount at the end of the rental period.

For professional designers, our consultants will work directly with you to support your vision. If you would like to delegate that part of the project, we would be happy to refer you to one of our professional stagers.
